I love when couples come to me wanting to do something different for their maternity session. Maternity should be personal to you as a soon-to-be mother and a couple. It’s an amazing time of transition and waiting all at once.
I love maternity sessions like these. I love when it all clicks, when the parents are up for anything and everything, when the husband is excited to do whatever I have in mind. It just becomes magic.

Princess In The Park | Fort Worth Child Photographer
The first annual Princess in the Park event this past Saturday was a BLAST! We had SUCH an awesome time with everyone who participated and I am so excited to make next year’s event an even greater success!
I am swamped in amazing photos of princesses and curls and bows and bright glimmering eyes of awe and wonder. This is just going to be way too much fun to go through and post the galleries. As a little sneak, here was our FIRST session of the day bright and early at 10 AM in the brisk 65 degree morning air. Also stay tuned for more images later this month.

Sounds Like Life
I heard this song for the first time when I was driving out to El Paso last weekend for a wedding (pics on that coming soon!) and I fell in love with it’s message.
So often we get overwhelmed and frustrated with things that are going wrong, and I think it’s nice to take a minute to remember that life is all about the rollercoaster ups and downs. We have to learn to embrace and enjoy every stage of life that we’re in or we’ll never be able to be happy and find contentment.

Sarah Anne is searching for a preschool girl, roughly 3T waist in size, for a charity photoshoot.
5 applicants will be accepted for a photoshoot and receive an 8×10 art print as compensation for their time.

I am breaking all my rules by being up this late and posting this, but I couldn’t help it. I am in awe every time I look at a situation and can see in my mind exactly how I want the image to look when edited. I love the feeling when I dive into my digital darkroom and mess around with all the different settings and options seeking out that exact, specific look I have burned into my head.
And when it reaches it, I have to sit back and smile. N you were AMAZING tonight, braving the ants, killer mosquitoes, and random bike riders. I can tell you right now, it was all worth it for what I see uploading onto my computer. Thank you.
