Our Easter.
Yes I’m that behind on my family’s photos. Aye.
Our Easter.
Yes I’m that behind on my family’s photos. Aye.
There is something special about Summer. The invitation to spend the evenings outside on the porch doing nothing other than enjoying the weather and watching the kids get skinned knees and chalky hands.
This year Caden is intent on learning how to ride his bike. It’s been a process, I think my child was born without the understanding of how to pedal at all, until the last few weeks. Out of no where he seemed to suddenly understand the concept and take off with it. This has lead into evening spurts of putting him on a bike and trying to coach him into moving himself forward. Of course, the first step is always to check the bike to ensure it’s safe to ride.

And away we go….
At least for a few feet.
Some of you know that recently my grandfather passed away and I traveled out of state to visit just a few weeks before. The trip was an emotional one, but it was good to see him and other family members. While I was there I met up with an old friend from high school who’d just had her baby. I was thrilled to be able to spend an afternoon together talking and taking pictures of her precious little boy. I’m excited to finally be able to share them with you now.

And for those who just can’t get enough baby -
June 14, 2010 - 8:27 pm - So precious! Well done!
I love Pre-Prom pictures. The might be one of my favorite type of sessions. I love the emotions and the energy, how willing everyone is to do all my crazy ideas.
This particular day we were in the middle of a tropical storm here in Texas and while driving over to take pictures I was trying to figure out what we could do outside. I finally had a brainstorm to try and embrace the rain with umbrellas and some help from headlights. While I would have loved more time to tweak around, the rain splattered formal wear cut our ideas short. Still I’m excited by the images we were able to pull together and so thrilled to share them with you.

And the whole she-Bang

The package includes coverage of the Birth, a slide show set to music, and a CD of image from the birth with a personal print release. Email for more information. Space is limited due to unpredictability of birthing.
Before I jump into this little sneak peek, I want to announce that for the month of April I’m testing out a new Senior photography session structure. For $350 you get 90 minutes, 2 outfits, and a CD of 65 images proof edited with printing releases. Portrait collections available to purchase including retouched images, prints, and albums.
So, for April, if you’ve been hesitating on booking your session don’t wait any longer! Weekends are pretty much filled but there is still a few weeknights open for you to try out this new structure and let me know what you think.
Now on to the goodies.

Stay tuned for the slideshow later this week.
I love babies.
I love the way they smell. I love the way they sound. I love how you can just sit and watch them breathe for hours on end and not want to look away.
I love *LOVE* love when I have a chance to spend a day taking pictures of one.

Isn’t this family GORGEOUS! I am so excited to be able to watch them continue to grow over the years to come.
And as most of you are expecting, here is the rest of the session. I can never resist a good slideshow.
Also, I am now renting out my studio space to other photographers for full and half day rates. If interested, please email me for more information. Studio@sarahanne.net
March 22, 2010 - 11:45 am - oh my goodness, the first image of that sweetie wearing those sunglasses put a huge smile on my face! Gorgeous session Sarah, my fave has to be the first family image... seriously stunning family.
I love one year olds. There is something so baby and yet so grown up about them. They’re finally walking, or very nearly walking, and their eyes are so expressive and aware. I just can’t resist them.
Little S-Man was no different. From the moment I walk into his home and allowed him to give me a tour I was in love.
