There is something magical about childhood. The imaginations. The pretend. The make believe.

This year Sarah Anne Photography is debuting a very special type of portrait session aimed at capturing these moments in your child’s life, be creating a dream come true for a few hours. We will work with your child’s imagination to create a world where they can be whatever it is they want to be, a princess, a fairy, whatever costume suits your child’s day dream.

For $495 this summer only (June through AUgust 2011) you can schedule your FairyTale session which includes a choice of costume for your child and a disc of 20 images of your choosing with personal printing rights with a signed model release. It’s been hot. Really hot. So as a super duper special promotion to match the heat and kick off the fall I’m offering a new Limited Edition session special. These sessions will be available for a two week stretch August 27th – September 12th in the evenings for 30 – 45 minutes.

Bring the family for a golden hour romp together. Dresses are available in sizes child S – XL.

These sessions will include a CD of 15 digital images for $250.

Princess In The Park | Fort Worth Child Photographer

The first annual Princess in the Park event this past Saturday was a BLAST! We had SUCH an awesome time with everyone who participated and I am so excited to make next year’s event an even greater success!

I am swamped in amazing photos of princesses and curls and bows and bright glimmering eyes of awe and wonder. This is just going to be way too much fun to go through and post the galleries. As a little sneak, here was our FIRST session of the day bright and early at 10 AM in the brisk 65 degree morning air. Also stay tuned for more images later this month.

Sarah Anne is searching for a preschool girl, roughly 3T waist in size, for a charity photoshoot.

5 applicants will be accepted for a photoshoot and receive an 8×10 art print as compensation for their time.

Many of you remember the stunning post of T I had up a few weeks ago. I’m finally getting a chance to blog the rest of the images. What an amazing, magical session we had. The lighting was perfect. T was a dream to work with, and the horses added just a mystical touch to the evening. I am so beyond thrilled by these, I love them all and couldn’t even come close to picking out my favorites.

When I first had an email from T’s mom mentioning horses I was hooked from the start. As a former rider and obsessive horse person I love every minute around them and take advantage of any time I can spend near them.

They she had to go and mention cowboy boots, a pettiskirt, and teacups. Oh my lord this woman sure knows how to butter me up.

It was amazing. Stunning. Out of this world too cool for words. And all day long all I can think about is how much I can’t wait to finish everything else I’m in the middle of so I can dive into these pictures and show them off to everyone. Because they’re just that amazing. Girls and horses are a magical combination. It sucks you right into their world, and if you’re really quiet enough, you can almost hear their conversations.
