I love sisters.

Maybe it’s because I never had one and I always imagined that if I’d had a sister we would have been BFFs always and forever and we could have plotted together against my two brothers and shared clothing and make-up and swooned over boys in high school. But, alas, I simply learned how to put together the baddest train track and imitate power rangers instead.icon wink { Double Trouble } Texas Child Photography

Because of this overdose of boyness growing up, I find myself fascinated photographing sisters and toddler girls. It’s so amazing to see how different they are from the brothers I grew up with and my own son. It’s s refreshing world of pink and flowers and pixie wings. And, of course, they’re often not afraid to play nice in front of the camera for me.icon wink { Double Trouble } Texas Child Photography

Wow! As I was looking through your blog, I was amazed to spot these gorgeous girls. What makes this extra special for me is that I had one of them in my first grade classroom, and the other says hi to me everyday at school. I’m amazed at your work, and in awe of “my cuties”. Thanks for sharing:)
