There is nothing I value more than the sacrifice from our men in uniform. I am so proud to be able to give back in any way I can whenever possible.

August 15, 2010 - 9:19 pm - This series of images is just lovely!! Love every one!!
While it’s intimidating to think about doing photography sessions when it’s been 100+ degrees outside, Miranda and I pulled it off with flying colors. It took two days due to freak storms and sweltering heat, but the end result was worth the extra trouble, don’t you think?

I have a million emails to get through at the moment but had to stop and share.

More to follow soon.
I love to show off my family.
My husband’s gorgeous daughters. My handsome son. The three of them fill my life with such amazing joy. We have so few pictures of them all together, although I have high hopes of trying to organize a sibling shoot soon, once they learn how to follow direction and sit and stay.

This post is a quite bittersweet for me.
I Was contacted by a friend of mine who was in a bind. We were planning to do her senior portraits later this summer, but she wanted to do them with her dog. And her dog was going to be put to sleep very soon. We scrambled our schedules and found a time when we could meet… in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week, two days before our pup’s final day.
While I know this is heartbreaking to speak of, I am so happy to have been able to get these pictures for Nicole. I remember when I lost my first dog and the few last pictures of her I have are some of the most cherished pictures in my family albums. I can only hope these help in some small way.

Watch it all…

I do believe that this is one of my favorite weddings ever. There is no fuss, just two people in love beginning their life together. So simple. So pure. So perfect.
June 8, 2010 - 1:35 pm - Thank you so much for putting together this fantastic slide show. I would have loved to be there to see my nephew Joe marry the love of his life, and since I couldn't this really means a lot to me to be able to see. You certainly captured the love there that day, and for that you have my deep respect and thanks!

June 9, 2010 - 6:55 pm - The most beautiful, spontaneous, and personal wedding photos I have ever seen! I have never seen photos that captured the feelings in a couple's eyes as they gaze at each other, before these. My two personal favorites: 1. He is kissing her shoulder, she has her eyes closed. 2. The new family of three are holding hands, walking into their future. Those two photos alone tell their story to me. Jennifer's proud Grandma, Fran Bolton
June 10, 2010 - 11:39 am - Wow - What amazing pictures of an amazing couple. Jennifer and Joe, we are so happy for you two. You can tell from the pictures that you are so in love. It has been a thrill to watch you on this journey. Can't wait to continue seeing this love story!!
This past week the two older kids had their first dance recitals. It was a grand affair in the house with lots of requests for make-up and special hair curls. This Mama was overwhelmed and out of her league to say the least. Next year we’ll be calling in back-up.

Of course little sis wanted hair curls too.

We decided to meet at the studio for the last minute changes and make-up before running to the theater.

That was my handsome lil guy in the back getting all buttoned up. Poor guy had so much hairspray in his hair to keep it combed over I think it looked plastic.

Sadly once the curlers came out we were rushing to the theater and I forgot to take my camera inside to get any pictures of the finished product. I’ll be looking to get a good set this coming weekend, though.
June 3, 2010 - 7:45 am - loved the photos did you ever get the ones from the recital? let me know
